Delhi Hotel Room Horror: Woman Found Dead, Man Critical in Suspected Murder-Suicide

A 28-year-old woman was found dead with multiple knife injuries in a Delhi hotel room, while a man was found critically injured. Police suspect a possible murder-suicide and are investigating the circumstances.

A 28-year-old woman was found dead inside a hotel room in Delhi’s Lahori Gate area, triggering panic after multiple knife injury marks were found on her body. A young man was also found in a critical condition in the same room, with police suspecting that he may have attempted suicide. Based on the initial circumstances, police are treating the incident as a possible murder-suicide case.

The incident was reported from Hotel Prince. According to police, hotel staff attempted to contact the guests staying in the room. When there was no response for a considerable period, the staff tried to open the room. Both the woman and the man were subsequently found unconscious inside.

North Delhi DCP Niharika Bhatt said police received information in the morning that a woman and a man were lying unconscious inside a hotel room in the Lahori Gate area. A police team immediately reached the spot.

Inside the room, the woman was found in a serious condition with multiple knife injuries on her body. The man was also found unconscious at the same location. Both were immediately taken to a nearby hospital.

Police said the woman was a resident of Samastipur in Bihar, while the man is reportedly from Rajasthan. Efforts are being made to contact both families. Their identities and other personal details will also be verified after their family members reach Delhi.

The police are investigating whether the man attempted suicide after attacking the woman. However, the investigation is still at an early stage, and no final conclusion has been reached.

Investigators are trying to determine exactly what happened inside the room, under what circumstances the woman was attacked and why the man was found in a critical condition. Police are also examining the relationship between the two, the purpose of their hotel stay and their activities before the incident.

Hotel employees are also being questioned. Police are trying to establish when the two arrived at the hotel, who entered or left their room and whether any dispute or unusual activity was noticed before the incident.

Possible evidence recovered from the room and other circumstances are also being examined. Police may use technical and forensic investigation to establish the sequence of events.

The man remains under treatment at the hospital, and his statement is considered important to the investigation. Police said the exact motive and sequence of events are expected to become clearer as the investigation progresses. Further action will be decided after the families are contacted and the available evidence is examined
